Preserve is a type of sweet or canned fruit made by boiling
various fruits with sugar. Preserve which is
indispensable for breakfast, can be consumed in every other meal. It can also
be used for making desserts and pastries. Preserve is made from many different fruits. Jam types according to their
ingredients; can be counted as strawberry, cherry, quince, blackberry,
raspberry, rose, and fig jam. The calorie value of jam varies according to the

calories in 1 dessert spoon (5 g) of strawberry jam. It contains the most

How to make strawberry preserve?
Strawberry Preserve, for its preparation, it is cleaned using the most ripe
strawberries and washed thoroughly. Approximately 2 kg (4 glasses of sugar per
1 kg of strawberries) are added to the cleaned strawberries and kept waiting.
It is started to boil over medium heat. It is boiled for 45 minutes and lemon
juice is added to prevent it from sugaring towards the end of the boiling
phase. After the preserve is ready, it should be placed in a hot jar and should
not be exposed to air for long-term storage. Strawberry preserve is consumed with pleasure after it cools down.
